In order to provide the most support to the most individuals, Hope and Healing Social Work and Counselling no longer offers a home visiting service. Appointments are available via the office in Nambour.

Fees & Charges

One of my values is being able to ensure everyone is able to access quality therapy. As such, there is a range of different fee structures. Listed below is my current schedule of fees.

If you are entitled to a Medicare rebate you are still required to pay the full fee up front. I will then process your rebate which usually takes 24 hours to reach your bank account. It is your responsibility to ensure your bank details are up to date with Medicare in order to receive your refund.

Eftpos facilities are not available. Payments are processed online using a secure server with your credit/debit card or you can pay with cash.

Unless stated below, bulk billing is not available.

Mental Health Care Plans

- 50min Office Appt - $100.00 with $77.10 Rebate 
- Young Person 12 - 21 In office Appt - Bulk Billed


- 50min Office Appt
DVA Health Cards (Gold and White) are accepted as
payment upon a valid referral.

National Disability Insurance Scheme

- Therapy - 30/50/60min Office Appts - Line Item 15_056_0128_1_3
- Report Writing - $50 per 30min block
- Non Face to Face Support - $50 per 30min block

Chronic Disease Management Plans

- 50min Office Appt - $100.00 with $54.60 Rebate

Clinical Supervision

- 60min Office or Online Appt - $100.00 +GST ($110.00)
- 90min Office or Online Appt - $150 + GST ($165.00)

Private Fees

- 50min Office Appt - $100.00
- Written Report - $50 + GST per 30min block

Cancellation Policy

Out of respect to people who are waiting to access appointments, you are required to provide 48 hours notice to cancel or reschedule appointments at Hope and Healing Social Work and Counselling. Failure to provide this notice can result in a cancellation fee being charged. This fee will then need to be paid before any further appointments can be scheduled. Even if an external agency, such as Workcover or DVA, pay for your appointments, the cancellation fee is your personal responsibility to pay. The cancellation fees are as follows:

  • 0-24 hours notice - 90% of your appointment fee
  • 24-48 hours notice - $25.00

There are certain circumstances where this fee can be waived however the best way to avoid this fee altogether is to provide adequate notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment. A voicemail can be left on 0490 134 669 at any time to cancel your appointment.
